The week I stopped guessing at design
I wanted a site that looked like someone cared. So before writing a single design rule, I looked at thirty-five finished websites and seventeen personal ones, and asked which I'd be proud to put my name on.

I’ve always helped customers. My career has just let me do it at a bigger scale.
I was running an online community on BuddyBoss long before I worked there. I joined as Customer Success and Support Manager, and just over two years later I was running the company behind 50,000+ online communities. Before that, I worked in IT systems support for nearly nine years, then as an operations support engineer.
Now I'm a Staff Product Manager at Nexcess, working on managed WordPress and WooCommerce, and I build side projects with AI in the evenings. I live in Kent with my family, and my daughter is my toughest app tester. The longer version →
